An RUC man accused of rape admitted yesterday to having sex with the alleged woman victim dressed in black stockings, suspenders and high heels. Constable Eric Alexander Millar (46) told Belfast Crown Court that when his wife was out he had invited the woman to his home in the hope of having sex. He admitted dressing up before having sex.
Constable Millar, whose address is given as Lisnasharragh RUC station, denies the woman's claims he raped her and had first done so in the loft of a church hall when she was 14. He is accused of raping her many times between 1987 and 1994.
Constable Millar denies rape, telling the court: "There's no way I would have had sexual intercourse if she had indicated she was not interested."
