The RUC is investigating a shooting incident at a house in Co Derry.
The man was woken up shortly after midnight when he heard a number of shots being fired at his home in Norwood Court, Coleraine.
He ran downstairs and found three bullet holes in a front window and strike marks on the living room ceiling.
The RUC have removed several items from the scene for examination. There were no arrests and no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
