Two men were being were being questioned by RUC detectives last night after the murder of a man in Craigavon, Co Armagh.
Mr Patrick Joseph McCann (40) suffered head injuries and stab wounds to the upper body in an incident outside the Aldervale flats complex in Craigavon at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday. An RUC spokesman said the matter was not being treated as sectarian.
Detectives are anxious to speak to a taxi-driver who took two men from Craigavon to Lurgan at around 7.45 p.m.
A man was assaulted in Ballymoney, Co Antrim, after four men, armed with handguns and a sawn-off shotgun, forced their way into a house.
