The vice-president of SIPTU, Mr Des Geraghty, has called on the Minister for Justice, Mr O'Donoghue, and the Minister for the Environment, Mr Dempsey, to clarify their position on the transfer of 150 traffic wardens between Mr Dempsey's department and Dublin Corporation. The wardens fear they may be redeployed in jobs with poorer working conditions.
