FIFA today provisionally suspended Roberto Carlos from international football following an incident during Brazil's recent friendly defeat to Portugal.
The defender allegedly pushed referee Alon Yefet during the 2-1 defeat in Porto.
Yefet, who sent Carlos off during the match, claimed the Real Madrid player deliberately barged him.
The Brazilian has been suspended pending a disciplinary hearing - a date for which has yet to be set.

The provisional ban does not affect club football and he is clear to play for Real Madrid in tomorrow's Champions League quarter-final against Manchester United.
Carlos can appeal the decision before midnight on Wednesday.
