The National Roads Authority has opened a Website. The site, at www.nra.ie, will provide information on route mapping, roadworks details and road safety as well as details of plans to develop the national roads network.
It will also have details of system facilities such as the National Roads Database and the Ice Cast Monitoring System, run in conjunction with Met Eireann.
