A 15-year-old boy with previous convictions dating back four years was disqualified from driving for three years at Bray District Court yesterday. He was charged with using a car without consent, driving without insurance and without a driving licence. For the unlawful use of the car, Judge Thomas Ballagh gave him the Probation Act on his own bond of £10 to keep the peace for 12 months, plus an independent surety of £500. For driving without insurance, he was fined £10, his licence to be endorsed, and he was disqualified from driving for three years.
