Atmosphere: One of the most anticipated Irish acts of the weekend, 18-year-old Kildareman Jack Colleran gears up to bliss out a crowd of chillwave-lovers, fellow musicians and DJs.
High: Summer and Blisters were so good they brought the sun out.
Low: Let's face it, it's not the greatest live show in the world, but the tunes are so splendid, you don't need pyrotechnics or oddly-dressed backing dancers.
Quote of the set: "Eh, he's a child!" one woman wandering towards the front of the crowd to her friend, a comment on Moth's freshfaced visage.
Verdict: Concise, well-crafted afternoon beats that did nothing but impress. There are echoes of M83 and Washed Out but Moths seems to be finding his own tunnel in the warren of modern electronic music. For someone who wouldn't even have been allowed attend this festival unattended a year ago, it's remarkable that such a young, new act can connect with audiences so well. Hello future, this is Newbridge calling.
