The removal of the Margaret "Meg" Walsh, the woman taken from the River Suir in Waterford on Sunday after being missing for a fortnight, took place this evening.
The service took place at 7pm in the Church of Saint Nicholas, Kilavullen, Waterford while the funeral mass will take place at 12pm tomorrow in Cork.
Family members have asked media attending the funeral to comply with a number of requests, including refraining from using cameras inside the church or funeral home.
The burial is being kept private, with only friends and family permitted to attend.
