A man has been remanded in continuing custody charged with dangerous driving, causing the death of a Polish woman at Oranmore, Co Galway, on December 12th.
Cleone Pererie De Matos (24, from Brazil but with an address at Moneymore, Oranmore, is charged with dangerous driving that caused the death of Nina Buhl.
Sgt John Gormally, of Oranmore Garda station, objected to bail when Mr De Matos was brought in custody before Galway District Court yesterday.
Judge Éamon O’Brien refused bail and he remanded Mr De Matos in custody to appear before Galway District Court again on January 4th.
