A former member of a religious order who is charged with more than 120 counts of indecent assaults on children in the west of Ireland had his case adjourned for two weeks when he appeared before Galway Circuit Court yesterday. The 55-year-old Franciscan brother, who has since left the religious life, appeared on remand before Judge Harvey Kenny in relation to offences which allegedly occurred more than 20 years ago.
