LONDON - Dates for referendums for Scottish and Welsh devolution will be announced within three weeks, the British government indicated last night.
The Junior Scottish Minister, Lord Sewel, told peers, during committee stage debate on the Referendums (Scotland and Wales Bill): "On the basis of the current timetable, we fully expect that we will come to the House by report stage and indicate the date of publication of the White Paper and the date of the referendums."
