Two men charged with suspected "Real IRA" bomb attacks in London and Birmingham have appeared in court.
Mr Robert Hulme (22) and Mr Noel Maguire (32) appeared at the high-security Belmarsh Magistrates Court in southeast London.
Mr Maguire is charged with causing explosions at Ealing, west London, on August 3rd and at BBC Wood Lane on March 3rd.
Mr Hulme is charged with causing an explosion in Birmingham on November 3rd, possessing explosives and firearms offences.
They are both charged with conspiracy to cause explosions to endanger life.
The men were arrested by anti-terrorist branch officers in London and Liverpool last week.
The men, making their first appearance in court, spoke only to confirm their names and ages.
They were remanded in custody to appear at the Central Criminal Court on November 29th. No application was made for bail. No addresses were given in court for the defendants.
