ROBBERS who used a stolen car to ram their way into a Dublin supermarket early yesterday fried to raid the store a second time three hours later.
A stolen silver BMW, believed to have contained four occupants, reversed into the shutters of a Londis supermarket in Taylors Lane, Rathfarnham, at 2.30 a.m. The raiders entered the shop, taking a number of cartons of cigarettes and the till.
The alarm went off and the key holder arrived with gardai shortly afterwards. At about 5.30 a.m., after the gardai had left but while the keyholder was still on the premises, the robbers returned, but they left when they realised someone was on the premises.
