The Co Meath based radio station Atlantic 252 has over 4.5 million listeners in Britain, according to the latest figures, for the final quarter of last year, Writes Michael Foley, Media Correspondent. This makes the station the largest commercial music radio station in the UK.
Atlantic 252, which is owned by RTE and the European media company, CTL, has increased its share across all markets, but in particularly the 15 to 34 year old age group. The station broadcasts on the long wave band and is aimed at the British market.
