Police in Belfast are investigating a possible racist motive behind an arson attack on two homes in the south of the city.

Police in Belfast are investigating a possible racist motive behind an arson attack on two homes in the south of the city.

The two houses in the Donegall Road and Coolsin Street areas were badly damaged after being set on fire some time before 3 a.m. this morning.

The houses were occupied by a Romanian and a Pakistani family, but both families were away on holiday. No one was injured in the attacks.

Police are appealing to the public for information.
