A quantity of firearms and ammunition were recovered by gardaí in Dublin today.
The find - which included five guns - was made in an area of open ground in the Attracta Road area of Cabra by gardaí from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation along with local officers.
Gardaí said the operation was part of a planned and ongoing operation to combat organised crime in the Finglas area.
The firearms are currently being examined.
