A man who denies murdering his neighbour by stabbing him in the back outside a pub in Glenamaddy last December told a woman in the pub earlier that night that he was going to kill someone, a court was told yesterday.
Pat Doherty, (46), Clooncon West, Glenamaddy, Co Galway, denies murdering Frank Fahy (20).
Ann Hughes told the Central Criminal Court she noticed Mr Doherty in a very agitated state in Harte’s pub that night. She said she asked him how he was and he told her, “I’m going to kill some effin’ one tonight.”
