A fire which broke out at a school overnight is being treated as suspicious, police said today.

A fire which broke out at a school overnight is being treated as suspicious, police said today.

The blaze happened at St Patrick's College on the Antrim Road, Belfast, just before 2am.

It is understood one classroom sustained scorch and smoke damage.

Anyone who was in the area between 1.30am and 2am is asked to contact police.
