PSNI investigates Antrim gun attack

A teenager has survived a gun attack on a house at Armoy in the Glens of Antrim, police said today.

A teenager has survived a gun attack on a house at Armoy in the Glens of Antrim, police said today.

Several shots were fired at the house in Market Street shortly before midnight.

Windows in the bedroom where the 14-year-old boy was sleeping and a conservatory were shattered in the attack.

The PSNI spokesman said no-one was reported to have been injured.

Detectives investigating the attack were trying to establish a motive and appealed for anyone who noticed the gunman or gunmen or a vehicle in the area at the time to contact them.
