Police in Derry are investigating the sudden death of a man (20) in a derelict house.

Police in Derry are investigating the sudden death of a man (20) in a derelict house.

The man's body was discovered by Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) officers in the house at Kinnard Park in Garvagh yesterday evening.

A post-mortem was due to be carried out today to determine a cause of death, a PSNI spokeswoman said.

She also said another man in his twenties was earlier taken to hospital from the same area and detectives were investigating a possible link between the two men.

The spokeswoman described the second man's condition as "serious".
