A man and woman were rescued today from fire in a Co Antrim block of flats which police believe was started deliberately.
Both were treated for the effects of smoke inhalation after being rescued by fire fighters after the blaze started around 6.30am.
A police spokesman said the fire was understood to have been started at the entrance to the communal hallway at the flats in the Wayside Green area of Ballymena.
