Gardai in Athlone have begun an investigation into possible child prostitution in the Co Westmeath town. It is reported in this week's Athlone edition of the Roscommon Champion that two sisters, one aged 12, have become involved in prostitution. Insp Padraig Rattigan confirmed that initial inquiries had begun.
