London - The debate over how Princess Diana died reignited last night with the screening of an ITV documentary Diana - The Secrets Behind The Crash, which raised the possibility that she had been murdered.
The programme claimed the driver of the car in which Diana and Dodi Fayed died in Paris on August 31st might have been in the pay of intelligence services. It said that chauffeur Henri Paul, who also died in the crash, held 10 different accounts at three different banks and had built up 1.2 million francs (£141,840) in savings through cash payments for which his employers at the Paris Ritz could not account.
It also showed an interview with his friend, Mr Claude Garrec, who said Paul had maintained his intelligence contacts for the 11 years.
