A Catholic priest pleaded guilty to a series of sex attacks on young boys at the Old Bailey in London today.

A Catholic priest pleaded guilty to a series of sex attacks on young boys at the Old Bailey in London today.

Priest Michael Hill (68) the former chaplain of Gatwick Airport, pleaded guilty to six charges of indecent assault on three boys aged between 10 and 14 years-of-age.

He admitted the charges at the Old Bailey where Judge Christopher Moss remanded him in custody for sentencing on Thursday.

A further eight similar charges are due to be left on file not proceeded with.

Hill, of Lingfield, Surrey, was jailed for five years in 1997 for a string of sex offences against boys. He was freed in 2000 on parole.

The court was told today that the charges related to assaults between 1969 to 1987 - the same period covered by the previous court case.
