Northern Ireland beerdrinkers are facing a 5p rise in the price of a pint. The increase is being introduced by Guinness, which is raising the price of its beer by 2.8 per cent from January 19th. Once other charges, including tax, are included, the increase will amount to 5p. It will bring the average cost of a pint to about £1.80 sterling.
