A ITV soccer commentator Brian Moore lent his named and voice to this soccer sim but I, bet he hasn't witnessed the final product. Being the professional he is, he would surely be very, very embarrassed indeed. Never mind the fact that he repeats himself over and over again, but he all too often contradicts himself as well.

For example, while testing it for review purposes, Moore praises the quality of a game with This is football of the highest order", while in the next breathe can be heard exclaiming At this level you would expect the standard to be much higher."

Poor old Moore commended my antics after a deliberate own goal by praising the scorer with one of those diche's like "superb play". This might seem like nitpicking but when you are in the middle of a tight game this can, be very off putting. There is the option of keeping him quiet, but this defeats the whole purpose.

It's a shame, because behind this unfortunate oversight, by the programmers there is a fairly decent soccer sim which at the end of the day is far better than having good commentary but a poor game.

Like other games of this kind, Adidas Power Soccer has all the options and extras one would expect. The graphics are also well up to scratch. Soccer, like most things, is a matter of personal taste but there are only two soccer games worth choosing from on the Play Station Power Soccer and Actua Soccer. If you prove g0od enough,, Power Soccer gives you the chance to take on. the Adidas Dream Team, various international players, all of whom have, no doubt, lucrative contracts with the sports wear manufacturer.
