A bank porter charged with raping his manager's daughter 20 years ago denied the allegation in evidence at the Central Criminal Court yesterday.
He said he could not explain why the now 29-year-old woman would make such an allegation. The incidents never happened, he said.
The 54-year-old man denies six charges of rape; 12 of unlawful carnal knowledge; and one charge of indecently assaulting her on dates from 1979 to 1982. The trial continues.
