Police in Belfast are questioning a man following the discovery of a pipe bomb factory in loyalist east Belfast.
Officers found the bomb when they raided a house in the city's Bloomfield Estate. A spokesperson said police believe the discovery is linked to the Loyalist Volunteer Force.
An assembled pipe bomb, component parts for other pipe bombs, a sawn-off shotgun, fireworks and a quantity of cannabis were found at the Glenbrook Avenue premises, police said.
