Cincinnati - The police officer indicted for the fatal shooting of an unarmed black youth that ignited three nights of riots here in April, pleaded not guilty yesterday. Officer Stephen Roach, indicted by a grand jury on Monday on charges of negligent homicide and obstructing official business in the April 7th death of 19-year-old Mr Timothy Thomas, turned himself in to officials, was processed and released on a $2,000 bond.
