Police are investigating two explosions in east Belfast overnight. The first occurred in Strand Walk at around 11 p.m. and it was followed by a
second pipe bomb device exploding in Clandeboye Drive.
No one was injured in the blasts.
Army bomb disposal experts defused a third device discovered in Strand Walk.

In a separate incident in the south of the city, security forces carried out a controlled explosion on a pipe bomb discovered at a house in Walmer Street of the Ormeau Road. The controlled explosion damaged a front door.
