Thousands of fish have died in a suspected chemical spillage along a 10 mile stretch of the River Bann between Rathfriland and Banbridge, Co Down.
Local anglers raised the alarm on Saturday after they noticed the river turning green. This was quickly followed by fish dying in their thousands.
