An attempt was made to attack the police training college in east Belfast early this morning.
A car was abandoned at the gates of Garnerville College shortly after 12.15 a.m. and a number of petrol bombs thrown at it.
The car didn't catch fire but two other cars were damaged. Police at the scene were attacked with paint bombs.
The PSNI are seeking information on the abandoned car, a white Peugeot 309.
