The RUC believe an attack on a flat in Ballymena, Co Antrim, was drugs related. The incident happened shortly before midnight on Sunday night when a petrol bomb was thrown at a rear kitchen window of a flat at Shetland Gardens in the Ballykeel Estate.

Police said a stone had been thrown through the window before the petrol bomb, which scorched the wall after exploding on the sill.

Two shots, believed to be from a shotgun, were fired through the front door. Two men in the flat were uninjured.
