There had been no tax reform since the Progressive Democrats were last in government, the party's secretary in Dublin North East, Ms Mary O'Brien Sheehan, said. "Penal personal tax levels are undermining enterprise, risk-taking an hard work, and the unjust Residential Property Tax is discriminating against Dublin householders. The Progressive Democrats are committed to reducing the current income tax rates to 20 and 40 per cent."
