Post-primary principals have asked parents to get involved in the supervision of pupils during school breaks after a survey revealed most schools depended mainly on principals or vice-principals to provide supervision. The National Association of Principals and Deputies (NAPD), which conducted the survey, said if legal problems could be overcome parents might be able to assist in providing supervision.
