Paint thrown at NI Catholic church

Police have appealed for information after a tin of white paint was thrown at a Catholic church in Ballymena, Co Antrim.

Police have appealed for information after a tin of white paint was thrown at a Catholic church in Ballymena, Co Antrim.

It is understood the tin landed on steps at the entrance to Our Lady's Church in Harryville. A PSNI spokesperson said the attack was being treated as a hate crime.

The church has previously been targeted by vandals.
