Theoutnet.com, bargainous sister site to net-a-porter.com, which holds flash sales of discounted designer goods on a regular basis (signing up to their updates ensures you'll be in the know) has expanded its repertoire with its first in-house brand, Iris and Ink.
A collaborative effort between the site’s creative team and online stylists, Iris and Ink consists of 35 wardrobe basics, referred to as the boyfriend jacket, the silk-T, the cropped trouser and so on. The items will change slightly from season to season in a nod to both weather and trends, but they are designed as modern classics, items to mix and match with more trend-led pieces. This season’s hot picks are the leather shell top (£150, pictured) which will look as good with skinny jeans as it will with a flirty, pleated skirt, and the fancy pant (£95), a straight-legged black trouser with a subtle metallic brocade pattern.
