London - A management consultant and ostrich farmer who left his birds to suffer in appalling conditions was yesterday banned from owning the birds for 20 years.
John Bush (60), of Redditch, Worcestershire, was also fined £1,900 in what is believed to have been the first prosecution of its kind in Britain.
