US President George Bush was caught on video wearing a tee-shirt at the window of his hotel bedroom at Dromoland Castle in Co Clare but summit organisers urged broadcasters not to use the image.
A TV camera zoomed in on Mr Bush looking out the window of his room at Dromoland Castle after his arrival last night. The image of Mr Bush was from the waist up.
Summit organisers appealed to news organisations covering the EU-US summit today not to use the video.
"The host broadcaster inadvertently transmitted pictures of President Bush at the window of Dromoland Castle. These pictures are the property of the Irish presidency and must not be used for transmission by any service," the memo said.
