LONDON - One person in 20 in Britain is an alcoholic, and the growing popularity of sweet tasting "alcopops" among the young is likely to make the problem worse, it was alleged yesterday.
A report from the charity Alcohol Concern said twice as many people were dependent on alcohol as were hooked on legal and illegal drugs.
