Athlete Tony Dees has been suspended for two years after testing positive for the banned anabolic steroid nandrolone, the US Anti-Doping Agency announced on Tuesday.

Dees (37), the 1992 US Olympic 110-metre hurdles silver medallist, tested positive for nandrolone metabolites after his second place finish in the 60-metre hurdles at the US indoor championships in Atlanta on March 3rd.He will be stripped of that finish, the agency said.

The US Anti-Doping Agency is the independent body for Olympic sports in the US. It was created in 1999 by the US Olympic Committee.
