Clare County Council faces opposition to compulsorily purchasing more than 150 acres of land for a landfill site at Inagh.
Residents and the major landholder at Ballyduff Beg, Inagh, the Irish Forestry Unit Trust, yesterday said they would be opposing the Compulsory Purchase Order served on them by the council.
