Mobile phone network company O2 - formerly known as Digifone - is to cut up to 45 jobs in a restructuring of its retail business in Ireland.
The new company will comprise Cellular World, O'Hagan Communications, Eire Communications and Access Communications.
Mr Brendan O'Hagan, founder of O'Hagan Communications, has been appointed managing director of the new company.
The company said it is also reviewing its network of retail outlets which employs over 250 people.
