Ireland’s Sonia O’Sullivan produced another impressive run as she won the 1500m at the Sydney Grand Prix today.
The Olympic 5000m silver medallist, who is spending much of her time in Australia as part of her winter preparations, completed an easy victory in a time of 4:06.34.
The 31-year-old finished more than two seconds ahead of Australia’s promising star Georgie Clarke.
The success bodes well for O’Sullivan before she returns to Ireland next month to compete in the 29th IAAF World Cross Country Championships at Leopardstown Racecourse in Dublin on March 24th-25th.
