A post-mortem carried out on the body of a seven-month-old girl has revealed that she died of natural causes.

A post-mortem carried out on the body of a seven-month-old girl has revealed that she died of natural causes.

The baby was found in a bed in a house in the Limerick suburb of Ballynanty yesterday afternoon and rushed to the the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick.

She was pronounced dead on arrival.

The post mortem was carried out by the State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, in Limerick today.
