Gardai investigating the death of a Nigerian asylum-seeker in Dublin say foul play is not suspected. The 25-year-old single woman was found dead this week in her flat on Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore, where she lived alone. It is understood she had been dead for some days.
The woman's friends said her application for refugee status had been turned down and she had been served with a deportation notice. However, the Garda Immigration Bureau said an initial search showed it had no record of such a notice.
