Ms Valerie Dawn Hancock was 19 when she was last seen boarding a bus from Nothampton to Luton on Friday, July 14th, 1967. But in the past few weeks it has emerged she was sighted a week later in a pub in Northampton, a police spokeswoman told

"It is strongly suspected that Valerie ran away to Ireland with these two men," said Sergeant John Austin of Towcester Police.

Ms Hancock would now be nearly 55. She was 5'1", with brown hair and brown eyes when she went missing. Her family is still appealing for her to make contact.
