The Minister for Health and Children, Mr Cowen, has appointed four new members to the Medical Council. They are Dr Abdul Bulbulia from Waterford, Ms Joan Carmichael from Dublin, Ms Siobhan Whitehead from Wexford and Ms Geraldine Feeney from Sligo.
Dr Bulbulia is the husband of the Tanaiste's programme manager, Ms Catherine Bulbulia, a former Progressive Democrats senator.
