A breast clinic at Cork University Hospital was opened on Saturday. Funded by the Southern Health Board and the charity ACT (Aid Cancer Treatment), the facility will be a dedicated symptomatic breast clinic. Up to 80 GPs from Cork and Kerry attended the launch to familiarise themselves with the service which will be available twice-weekly from October 1st.
